So what’s so great about true tone ?

It makes the screen yellow. It looks better when you have it off. Can anyone fill me in what this does ?

I never understood what's so great about it either (I have it on my iPad Pro). But yes it does warm up the screen by providing a yellowish tone, if you turn it off you will definitely notice a difference as the screen will have more of a coolish blue hue.
