I noticed iTunes has an application section of the store now. I have a Jailbroken 1.1.4 iPod. Should I not upgrade to 2.0 if I want to keep installer on my iPod? What about upgrading iTunes to 7.7?

7.7 worked fine with my jailbroken Touch.
I reinstalled 1.1.4 so it can later become non-jailbroken.
As for keeping installer, why would you want to do that? Most developers are moving to the app store.

The main reason I want to keep it jailbroken is so I can keep summerboard because I love having different themes than just the plain ipod theme.
well 2.0 has been jailbroken so who knows what is in store, we could soon see 2.0 with summerboard and customize............. I hope
