Ive convinced my mom to purchase an iBook because she's half "computer illiterate" and the whole Windows crashing/virus/spyware/nothing-working-like-it-should thing has driven her into a slight hate for life. But she loves eBay and performing tasks for her business, so I suggested an iBook. She doesn't know much about the Apple OS but i trust that she will pick it up fairly well. My question? What will be the deal with the MacIntels? I told her to wait till January when they might release the new iBooks, but do you guys think there will be software issues? I told her that she would never really have to worry about things crashing, installations being a breeze, and things running seamlessly. You think there will be any bumps to deal with this coming January?
