So what's the point of newstand?

I open it up... go to store, and search for an app (denver post)..

but that just downloads like any other app. is it supposed to show up IN the newstand app?

If it's a newsstand app, it should show up inside newsstand. Try downloading the New York Times, I know that definitely shows up inside newsstand.
