I'm pre-ordering tonight to pick up my new white 64GB AT&T iPhone 4S.
I'm getting it at the Manhantan Beach Store, CA.
What's your guys guess on line estimate on launch day, 8 am?

Don't quote me but I read somewhere Apple will not be doing reservations and pick up at Apple stores this launch. Pre-orders will be mailed out. But, again don't quote me...just recall reading that somewhere.

I hope it's not true, as I want to pre-order and pick up at the store.

At the Manhattan Beach Store the line will be 176 meters long, which means you will have to wait approximately 2 hours and 46 minutes.

I was at the Manhattan Beach store for the 3GS and 4 launches. For the 3GS, I got there at 5:00am and I was about 50 people back from the start of the line. For the 4 launch, I also got there at 5:00am and the line was stretched all the way around Macy's to the driveway where you enter near the movie theatres. Buy 8:00am when the store opened, the line was wrapping back around to the south of the driveway. I'm guessing that this launch will be at least as big as the 4.
