"Later this fall", for me, a non-English native, this sounds as the release date could be as late as December 21st. Anyone having some well-substantiated thoughts regarding this matter? Sorry if posted already.

As late as Dec 21. Judging by the past releases with this wording expect closer to that date than the current date. However due to the holidays I’d wager/hope (as a shareholder) by Dec 1. You have to let those preorders arrive by Christmas.

Missing that date would be a major fail. Especially if they sell S6 up to it.

I have noticed that some Watch models are currently unavailable for order or pickup on the Apple store site. I would say it’s going to be sooner than later.

Yeah I think you’re right. Some watches are available in store but not for delivery and I can’t even see the graphite SS anymore

The absolute earliest is Apple press release tomorrow (September 24th) and website update, pre-order following Friday and launch October 8th. More likely will probably be a press release October 4th, with preorders that following Friday, October 8th and launch October 15th. Apparently there's rumors of an Apple Event October 12th so I am thinking we know a release date before then. Apple would have announced the Apple Watch at that Event if it was much later.

Also I believe mass production stated this week (according to Jon Prosser/Kuo)
