I bought the 1st gen but returned it because unlike the Metaquest, which is more of a social experience, I use Bigscreen alot to watch movies with friends, the vision was more of a solitary experience. I've been keeping up with it and thought i had heard that Apple had given up development on it, and now they are doing a spec bump upgrade. Has the situation chnged with apps. Are developers still developing for it, and how has the social aspect changed or remained the same?

the new system has social movie watching. No one has ever said apple has given up development on it. that would be ridiculous. Developers still don't care cus it's too niche at this price point but it's till a fantastic entertainment device.

The Vision Pro fits where you find it to fit the most, and knowing it can also fit in other places you find it to fit.
it's such an all round device, you can't pin it down in a certain place to fit.
And that is the beauty of the Vision Pro :)
