Alright so we are on the GM release of 3.0. I don't know about you guys but i don't see battery percentage anywhere.

wasn't there an argument over the weekend about if this feature exists or not?

I had the battery percentage turned on in an edited plist way back in my jailbreak days, and it seems to restore back with any restore of a new phone I do from an old backup. With 3.0 it showed up beside the batter as "xx%(battery)" as opposed to just "xx" with no percent or battery symbol. There isn't any switch for it in the settings however, it just shows up.

once upon a time....

When I was reading about 3.0 a long time ago.....I saw that the person went to the usage section in the setting to enable the battery percentage meter. If it is not there it must have been eliminated....I am really hoping it wasn't. Someone please tell us if you get a battery percentage meter working....

I heard it was a 3G S feature only, if it is thats really stupid, lots of apps already have these meters, and this is just nitpicking for new features by apple.
