i doubt the true ipod video will come out this year - it would have been released already in time for the holiday season. no way would they release it just 3 weeks before christmas.

Aside from the rumor sites, and the news sites quoting the rumor sites, and the discussion boards quoting the news sites quoting the rumor sites which have been talking for years about iPhones, Tablet Macs and "true" video iPods, what makes you think that what is out now isn't a true video iPod? If the current iPod does not suit you, wait. Everything changes with time.
