I don't often run into people who have a birthday on Christmas. Is there anyone else here that does, and if so, what's your take on it?

Well mine is on the 26 which I feel is just as bad. My birthday is always lost in the hussle of Xmas. And you have nothing to look toward to later on in the year. I like to say jesus stole my thunder! Haha

Me. It never bother me to receive gifts only once a year, after all I got the most presents @ Christmas. Still do :D. I look at it as holiday to celebrate (honour) my birthday ;).

My dad does :) And my cousin has his birthday the 26th, but he lives in New Zealand so it feels like it is the same day as my dad :p

Edit: Mine is also close to Christmas (11 days before) :p

Mine's eight days before Christmas and that has felt too close to Christmas for my taste. I can only imagine how you all felt as kids!

Merry Christmas and happy birthday!

Mine is exactly 2 weeks after Christmas, so thanks January sales. My mums a few days later and my girlfiends 1 month later. Just as you thought you can get financially back on track after Christmas!

Thanks for the article link :). Also made me realize that I've read virtually nothing about holiday birthdays over the years. I think it's the first thing I've ever read specifically about it, come to think of it.
