I guess this is the obligatory who has it thread.

So where did you get it and what's your Gamecenter id? Mine is prot0type

Also, should be noted that I doubt anyone will have a hard time obtaining one. I was at the king of Prussia mall in PA, no waiting, just walked in and walked out.

So no name yet.

Dont really have much info to share aside from what's already out there. Its definitely thin as they say especially compared to the previous gen. This is evident when you first plug in your sync cable and the rear of the connector is still exposed.

Nicknames have to be unique, so get 'em while they're hot before everyone needs to have nicks like xeno435 and Burgundy234.
 
Do you have the setup the gamecenter ID on the ipod touch or can you do it on the web?

You have to do it on the device when you load gamecenter for the first time. You basically register with your itunes account and select a nickname, your location, and your birthday.
 
Don't know if this was mentioned yet or not but I know Apple originally mentioned GameCenter was only going to be compatible with the new 4th Gen models and the 3rd Gen models leaving the 1st and 2nd Gens behind however, I read today that the 2nd Gen models will be able to use GameCenter. The only ones that won't be able to are the 1st Gen iPod Touch and the two early iPhones.

i clicked on "find game center games" and it just took me to the apple page :confused:
