So who is planning on getting one of thses new iphones?

I'm content with the new features in iOS4. Plus I'm not eligible for an upgrade until next march, so I'll be sticking with my 3GS until the 2011 iPhone release.
Oh yea, and I'll still be getting true UNLIMITED data
After watching the video on Apple.com, all I thought was that I want one! But since it is still with AT&T I'm going to have to pass.
I am not happy with AT&T's double early termination fee, nor their decreased data plan limits. Sure they claim we will now be paying less for the data plan, but we also get less than half the download limit. Granted most people currently never use the full 5GB "unlimited" data plan, but that will change as more content is streamed and cell phone data service gets faster. I also imagine the new iPhone's video chat feature will cause many to easily go past the plan limits, when they can't connect to WiFi. And most certainly tethering will end up costing people even more data overage fees.

I can get a new phone, however I am waiting to see how 4.0 works on my 3GS, the only reason I would upgrade is the Speed, Screen, and Battery, all the other stuff is not a big deal.
I made the decision too, but watch the videos on Apple's site, and you can't help drooling.

I'll be getting one for sure. I'm still rocking my original iPhone and am sooooo ready for an upgrade. I wish they made a grey one though, like the ipod classic. In my opinion the white one is fugly, but to each his own. Also wish they would've had a 64 GB. Oh well, can't always get what you want.

I'm upgrading from the original iPhone at launch. Looking at 16GB black as my iPhone 4 of choice.
i will even tho i have a 3gs i have an upgrade and the selling of my old phone covers the coast so i have no problem
Did ya miss the part that video calling is on WiFi only for the forseable future?
Also did ya miss the part that ANYONE currently with an unlimited iphone date plan or unlimited smartphone data plan can upgrade to the new iphone and KEEP the unlimited plan?!

I wrote Steve Jobs that my only complaint was that it was heavy & bulky. Looks like their working on that...
Other than that I've been very happy with the product even with ATT.
