So, In like 2 months I'm moving to San Diego, and I need some help finding a place that would suit me. Anyone care to help?

I'm moving in with my girlfriend, and we'll be splitting rent (up to like 650 each). We want a place close to the beach, but in a nicer area (La Jolla, maybe?) if anyone could point me in the right direction of a good apartment complex or area, that'd be awesome. It's my first time doing this, so I don't really know what the hell I'm doing.

La Jolla is a pretty expensive place in terms of housing. Apartments here generally range from $1000-1200 for a one bedroom, and $1300-1500 for a two bedroom. If you're looking to spend about $1300 between the both of you, you can get a pretty decent one bedroom, or a sizable two bed room in a slightly older complex.

You should try out craigslist as there are lots of ads there for rooms for rent. You can also try calling some of the large apartment complexes here, there are tons (try rent.com).
