I have energy saver disabled and all of the sleep options off, yet the system still shuts down after a period of time? It's annoying when using iTunes. The system will shut iTunes and then attempt to shut down or hibernate. Any help is appreciated.

It may not be shutting down, but instead logging out.

In the Security preference pane there is an option to "Log out after X minutes of inactivity."

I would check there.

Thanks. That was the issue. Didn't think they would put that in another area of the system preferences. Oh for the question - it's )S X. That's why I posted the question in this forum. iMac too :)
