So...will iPhone AT&T tethering be USB only?

Overall I am happy with the new data plans and tethering IF and ONLY IF tethering allows the iPhone to be a mobile wifi hotspot.

Currently I use about 300MB monthly iPhone data and 2GB monthly on my sparingly used Verizon MiFi - no where close to the 5GB limit. I stand to save $30/ month if I can ditch the MiFi and use the iPhone for wifi tethering.

How do non- U.S. carriers handle tethering? Is it USB only or wifi/Bluetooth?

I use the MiFi for two laptops and lately my iPad. Wifi tethering is a must.
