So who’s going to bite the bullet and update the watch os to latest today? I’m referring to folks using watch s4 outside US and using the ECG function! I hope the update doesn’t cripple ecg outside US

How would adding more supported countries cripple it? If you're using shenanigans to get around the region restriction then you should just assume the update will break that, just like everyone did back when jailbreaking was more popular.

Exactly, and if users already found a workaround, they should not update their OS until it's been verified that their workaround wouldn't be "fixed" before updating.

What’s the work around to get this feature outside US. Doesn’t it have to be a US region serial number ?

Just a normal download (15 minutes) - my ECG works fine and I'm not in the USA. Why should the update cripple the ECG App outside of the States?

You do know it is available in about 23 other countries don't you?

Or any of the other available countries that have the ECG App.
