Other SOAK: Lightning to VGA adapter question

I know you can’t play iTunes movie or shows with this adapter for HDCP copy protection reasons. Has anyone that has this adapter tried to use it with MoviesAnywhere or Disney+ app?

I have the HDMI adapter, but at work they only have VGA input for the MPR projector.
