This question may be a little more in depth that just iPhone (actually I'm sure it is), but I'll ask anyway - besides, I figure someone on here can answer.
I want to create an app with features similar to instagram/facebook/etc. Namely, the news feed. However, I don't want to 100% integrate into facebook. I want my users to be able to create accounts, and see a "news feed" that's completely separate from facebook's (like instagrams news feed for pics).
