Just the thought of this stuff makes me sick. I picture drinking the juices at the bottom of the turkey pan, only carbonated. Excuse me, I have to go talk to a therapist now.

Founder and CEO Peter van Stolk dreamed up the seasonal flavor on a lark, but admits he can't stomach an entire bottle.

The liquid's ominous, murky brown color accurately warns consumers about the taste. The first sips bring a mix of sweet caramel and savory lard - and it's downhill from there.

High praise from the CEO of the company and the flavor's inventor.

At least he is donating from the sales of the turkey and gravy soda to Toys for Tots charity. That is a nice find eyelikeart. Think that I will stick to the real thing.

I'm sure few sodas can top Crystal Pepsi, though. That didn't last long on the market before it was pulled due to them finding how unhealthy the chemicals that made the soda clear were to your body.

okay, the clear pepsi connection: after they did that, SNL did a skit for "clear gravy", which was gross. this is worse. i don't think i could even try it, kinda makes me sick...

They use a kind of bleach on all soda before adding colour. What's so different about Crystal Pepsi? They just don't add food colouring afterward.

The soda is from Jones, one of the coolest drink companies around. Maybe the drink sucks, but if a company can get away with it, it's them. Think about all the PR they are getting, few knew about them before, but that have now changed.
They have many cool sodas and the labels are awesome, you can submit your own pictures and maybe they'll use them.
Many sodas of the same flavor have different labels, what a cool idea.

It's definitely gross sounding, but I'd be game to see some photos of their product designs. ;)

Jones soda is sold nationwide, very trendy to a point, in that every good trendy restaraunt will have these, yet i've rarely seen anyone drink them. mostly they make wonderful decoration. this particular flavor is only sold in the pacific nw, but you can get it on eBay for a hefty premium. i'm tempted to go make a bid. i'd never drink the stuff but it'd be a hell of a conversation piece...

and to point out that bad flavors aren't a new thing, two words: coffee jello.

I will try and take a pic this weekend :)

Looking forward to your picture. Any plans on volunteering to sample the product for us? :)
