Soft-touch paint

I'm very excited about the 3G iPhone but least so about the black plastic back. I understand the supposed technical reasons for this, but I feel they could have done better: either with a matte black or even a 'soft-touch' back (like the Instinct or Treo 755p). Would be great if a 3rd party offered a 'soft-touch' finishing service...I'd definitely consider something like that!

Thanks, but Colorware doesn't seem to offer any matte or rubberized option...but I've sent them an inquiry.
