watch the entire video. it looks really good, though, sharp build quality is not as good as apples.

It may not kill iPhone, but in my opinion it comes very very close. When It gets released I will go compare.

• Screen resouloution around those of netbook laptops.
• Almost 4" screen
• 5.1 MP Camera with autofocus and flash
• Aquos Screen (like the TVs)
• Multi Touch
• Normal keypad
• One-Seg TV
• App-Store like function
• S! Felica (Mobile wallet)
• And like all Japanese Phones, video calling camera.
• LIMITED INTERNAL STOARAGE (I believe)

The video doesn't load for me either. The phone looks ok from the pictures, but like plumbingandtech I don't really think that this an iPhone killer.

That is what I thought before I saw the entire video (its uber cheesy with some funny dressed foreigners and a creepy japanese guy but still....) it completely multitouch and looks pretty darn good. Also has a massive screen with a great resolution. and 5.2 mp autofocus camera.

It won't be an iPhone killer for the same reason the Samsung Instinct wasn't...and it has nothing to do with the hardware.

that phone has the resolution of like a computer ii thought too many pixels on a small screen on a phone would kill it.

and it has a physical keyboard D: i prefer no phys keyboard

an iPhone killer? based on that footage, which is just a video superimposed onto the screen? (if you notice the "touches" are often out of sync with the moment something happens on the screen)

The hardware however is pretty amazing looking (look at the updated original post)

I think Sharp is trying uber hard to get some iPhone buyers.

So I went and played with the phone.

The hardware IS amazing.

The interface was surprisingly good though not as good as the iPhone.

The design and materials are cheap.

Still its on my list of phones to consider, and it beats the JP omnia (omnia with out win-mo. touchscreen sucks!)
