software 4.0.2 back to 4.0.1

I did the whole upgrade to version 4.0.2 but want to go back to version 4.0.1 because of all the horror stories I'm hearing about. How do I change the software version back? Can somebody help me?

You can't since Apple isn't signing iOS 4.0.1 anymore, unless you backed up your SHSH blobs.

Really? They were signing that for the longest time after 4.0.2 was out.

Simple

It is simple to downgrade back to 4.0.1 if you had a jailbroken phone on 4.0.1 or 4.0 before you upgrade to 4.02
