Hi All,
Wondering if anyone else has had the same gripes I had-
I've had a quick google and it hasn't turned up anything but here's my problem.
Like any iBook User, I've been used to using F1 through F6 for their proper hardware functions - and F7 through F12 for their exposé functions.
Recently, I upgraded to a MacBook Pro and realised that the backlit keyboard (though occasionally a godsend, and just generally cool looking) interferes with this. I can switch it so it controls the software features and I get my expose buttons as normal, but then I have to hold Function to change my brightness, volume or num-lock.
Does anyone know of a way around this?
Ideally so that I can have F1-F6 doing their hardware functions by default and F7-F12 doing their software functions by default?
Cheers!
