Software cleanup software-remove unused stuff, gain space

Hey, i notice im losing some HD space. I want to get some software that will remove unused files and trim what not.

BUT it needs to be secure, and not damage any of my files or software.
I know there is islimmer, but i heard that some times it messes up some software.


Any tips?

I use whatsize to see which files really take lots of diskspace.
