Software compatibility questions when upgrading from OSX 10.2 to Tiger

Hi,

I'm soon to be upgrading from OSX 10.2.8 to Tiger (with a brand new PowerBook, hopefully).

Am I likely to experience any software compatibility problems with software like Photoshop 7? I know that there were some issues with upgrading from 10.2 to 10.3 and Photoshop 7.

Also, I've aquired an Epson Stylus C40+ inkjet printer (currently running on an OS9 computer). Will this work in OSX 10.4, as I can't find any drivers or anything on the Epson site?
