can anyone recommend programs for

1. converting medial files such as you tube into flv and then to file for ipod or mp4 etc

i am using trial AllMy Tube from wondershare but just recently it has started to FAIL transfer
are these failed transfers using up my download bytes when they fail?

2. antivirus program

there are no viruses for OSx; don't waste your money. there are plenty of threads on the forum about it.

Handbrake and MPEG Streamclip. MRoogle is a good tool to search this forum for already existing answers to your questions.

The only anti-virus you need to protect your Mac is education and common sense.

ClickToFlash offers the option to download YT videos as .mp4 or www.keepvid.com will download the video for you.
Again, MRoogle can help you find many, many answers to your questions, if you have them.
