I might be purchasing a new iBook in a week or so. I would like to know, how much could I get for that free iPod on ebay or something. And should I get iWork and MS office or iWork. I dont know what iWork is. And what about iLife?

iLife & iWork are both Apple software products - you can find their descriptions here.
As for whether or not you should get MS Office, it depends entirely on what you do & what your needs are.

Lastly, you could do a search on ebay for "iPod mini 4GB" - link here.
It looks like there are several selling for "Buy It Now" at $179.

Best wishes.

Whilst I currently use XP, I will be purchasing MS Office for Mac. I use it at work and home and it will mean I can continue to do all I need to without any worries about compatibility.

There are Mac users out there who will use alternatives - it's everyones personal opinion. Just remember some may use alternatives due to they love (or lack of it) for all things Microsoft ;) :D Office is a great package.

Congratulations on the buy. :)

iLife will come standard. Buy Office, it's great despite having the M word on the box. Don't bother with iWork, it's pretty young and an update is probably pretty imminent IMO although we haven't heard many rumours about it.

Yes. Once again all the help I needed in less than 5 posts. Thank you all.
