Software for renaming files from a doc or pdf??

Hi guys,

Right now I've got a load of sound effects CDs that are mostly labeled "track01, track02" etc. Along with most of them I have pdfs and some .docs, which have more descriptive names of the tracks.

Is there a program that I can use to take those names from the pdfs/docs and then rename my list of tracks in an easy way? For Mac or PC!

Any help would be much appreciated!
