Hello all,

I have a couple of questions regarding the software raid 0 implementation in OS X.

1. Is it possible to add additional disks without rebuilding the array and losing the data?

2. If I reinstall OS X, will it recognize the RAID configuration under the new installation?

Thanks!

I have a 2 x 320gb software RAID in my Mac Pro just now :D

I don't think so and if I could its the first thing I would do :)

2. If I reinstall OS X, will it recognize the RAID configuration under the new installation?

Yes :) I have changed drives through different Macs and they have even recognized the RAID configuration on a different install
