I am looking to do some video editing for work but I am not a professional. In fact I am looking for something that is easy to use. Here are some of the features that I anticipate needing:

1. Removing sound from video.
2. Cutting parts of the video and splicing.
3. Ability to add graphics such as logos or graphs to the video.
4. The ability to add music to the video. This one may not be necessary since I am sure you have to have a license or prior approval to use a song. May have more questions on this later.
5. A system for storing and managing my videos would be nice. A library of some sort.
6. Special affects like slow motion.

Again, ease of use is important. Is iMovie capable of all this?

All of that is very basic so yes, imovie could help you with that.
