Anyone else think we might see something today? Given that it's been quite a while since launch and the problems surfaced to national attention, and now with the Consumer Reports story... I feel we might see something today. If not, this week... hopefully

Every morning Jobs reads MR and it he sees any threads about "When is apple gonna do this or that" he decides to go back to bed and wait for the next day to roll around.:)

At this point Steve Jobs and apple are damned if they do and damned if they don't. If they release a fix everyone knows it is just masking the problem not fixing it. On the other hand if they dint it shows that they don't care. I do not think that is so but they have let this thing get to much steam instead of coming out and saying here is the deal and this is what we are goin to do.

(in a Darth Vader voice) "I find your lack of response disturbing."

Apple is waiting for everyone's 30 day return window to be gone, so when the fix doesn't work, it's too late to return it. :p
