Software Update button greyed out

Just did a netrestore on a mbp mid 2010 with an image from same generation mac and this is the result:

Anyone seen this before?

Edit: software update does NOT launch if I select it from the apple-menu..

Just installed the 10.6.5 combo update. Now software update works.. sorta.. check this
