I reinstalled El Cap on my 2011 MBP, and imported my data and settings from an external backup disk for a Mac Pro 2009 running 10.11.6. After rebooting, the app store shows updates waiting, but throws an error when I click on the update icon in the app store.
Tried running the terminal command: sudo softwareupdate --clear-catalog but that did not do anything.
Any ideas?
