Mac user of 5 years and I'm running OS X 10.6.2.
For the first time ever, software update is behaving strangely:
When I run the software update, 12 items appear, including the one I need; the OS X update.
Normally I would click install 12 items and it would install. Upon completion it would ask to restart the machine, which I would do and all would be fine.
But now: Click "install and restart" and instead of installing it immediately says "to install updates, you must restart you computer" giving two options. NOT NOW - simply cancels the install. And RESTART - restarts the machine and cancels the updates. It is the same if you "show details" then request the install
I am stuck and cant get around this. Has anybody else experience this?
Thanks, Darren.
*Sorry if there is already a thread on this. I couldn't find it.
