Just installed Leopard (10.5.1) tonight, a clean install. iLife 06 is the only other thing I've installed so far. I'm trying to do Software Updates, and it's giving me some problems.
I've installed most of the updates, but I've got 4 updates that are partially downloaded and won't finish downloading (GarageBand 3.0.2, iWeb 1.1.1, iPhoto 6.0.5, and Mac OS X 10.5.2). What seems to have happened is the download froze in the middle of downloading those particular updates (don't know if it was the wireless or my actual internet connection or what), and now Software Update won't ever finish downloading them.
In the Software Update list, all 4 updates are shown as partially downloaded, but when I try to install them (I've tried each one individually), the window just says "Downloading [whatever] Update..." but there's no progress bar and no text indicating that downloading is taking place. Things never progress beyond that point, and all I can do is hit Stop.
I've never had this problem before (been using Tiger for a year and a half), and I'm still pretty much a Mac newbie, so I have no idea how to proceed. Please advise - I'm out of ideas, and Googling isn't turning up anything useful.
