Software Update not working with 10.5

I bought an install disk for Leopard 10.5.1, installed it on a clean drive, and had it copy apps, files, Users, and settings from a 10.4.? volume. It went mostly ok, though it installed older versions of Safari and iTunes. I downloaded updated versions from apple.com.

But when I fire off the Software Update option, it never finds any updates, even though Leopard is up to 10.5.5. It tells me it has nothing new at this time. What can I do?

Get the combo updater from

http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/macosx1055comboupdate.html

and install it, then do a permissions repair (Applications, utilities, disk utility, then repair permissions) which will take a while. After that, it should be normal.
