I read this morning that iTunes 7.2 has been realsed so i tried to update to it.
So i go into software update and it searches for new software up to about 10% then stops and comes up with the attatched.

It says that there is new software but is not displaying it, so i can't download it.

I don't really want to download iTunes off the apple website because that means re-importing everything and losing all my play counts etc.

I have already tried restarting the computer.

Well so that i don't have to move around prefs i would still like to know why its doing this.

Installing iTunes 7.2 from Apple's website makes NO difference over using Software update.

To sort the issue you could try Software Update==>Reset Ignored Updates, or by dragging the copies of com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist to your desktop
