First off, everything is current on my iMac. I recently reinstalled my HP printer drivers downloaded from HP. Lion then offered the 2.8 update of those drivers, which I let it install and it completed as expected.

Now, whenever I run software update, it keeps offering me those same drivers. A couple iterations of allowing it to install hasn't changed the behavior:

Offers the update
They install without error
software update runs again as expected, and it says nothing else to update
Next time I run software update from scratch, it offers the same update.

Seems like it's not recording or reading the installation of that update like it should. Any thoughts? No problems with Lion beyond this.

Complete uninstall and reinstall of printer software seems to have cleaned it up. Was feeling like I was back on Windows for a bit there.
