I am having issues with updating the software on my MAcBook Air..every time I try to update, the computer tells me i don t have permissions. I am the only admin/user on this machine and can't find any support form Apple..big surprise there.. I thought it may be a file sharing issue with the ARD Application, but regardless of whether that is on or off, I still cannot update. I received the error:

Warning SUID File "system/library/coreservicies/remotemanagemnet/ARDAgent.app/contents/MaOS/ARDAgent" has been modified and will not be repaired.
whenever i tried the "verify/repair permissions" in disk utility; however, according to Apple, this is a nuisance and should be ignored.

ANY IDEAS????
