Hello, I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions or a potential solution to this issue.
For the past two software updates (the most recent security update 2014-002, and the Safari 7.0.3 update), OS X has had to install them twice. In other words, I would install an update, but software update would still list the update as still being needed to be installed. Restarting the computer a second time and allowing the update to install would resolve this issue.
Software update lists each update as being installed twice, one right after the other. Is this compromising the install at all, or do I not have to worry about that (security compromise etc)?
Another related issue is that additional software updates will be hidden. I installed the security 2014-002 update the two times, before installing my 1Password update. After the final security update install, I had to restart my computer before the 1Password update would appear again. Manually searching for the 1Password update would show the "update" button before restarting.
Thanks for the help anyone.
