Hello all!

Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise considering all of the issues I have been reading about in the past day - I decided this morning to upgrade my 13Pro to iOS 16. I always update from my iMac (never OTA). I updated my Mac yesterday and am running Monterey 12.6. When I connected my iPhone and clicked on update, I received the following message:

I have seen these before and they always work after I click install. However, this morning, every time I try to install, I get the following message:

I have restarted both my iMac and my iPhone to no avail. This error still comes up. I am thinking I should wait until the first update comes before I try again, but I wanted to see if others have this issue and if they found a fix.

Thanks for any guidance you can give!

An interesting wrinkle in all of this: I tried one more thing - I updated to 15.7 OTA thinking that might be the issue as I hadn't updated my phone from 15.6.1. I then plugged in my phone to my Mac and it stated that I was up to date. I clicked on check for updates and it stated that I was on the latest version. (This is an iPhone 13 Pro.) Yesterday and this morning, Finder showed iOS 16 and the button to update, causing the issue in the thread above.

I checked again and it still says that 15.7 is the most recent update. Guess I won't be updating any time soon. :)
