So I have the 6 and i have the indicator showing I have an update to download to 8.1. I go in, click agree nothing happens?

You probably don't have enough available space on your phone to do the over the air update.
You can do it by plugging it to itunes and hit update or by deleting a bunch of stuff on your phone. Restart the phone and try the OTA update again.
