Software updater Problems

Hello, I am trying to clear “System Updates” in Mojave 10.14.5 OS. System updater will “not clear” the updates? I have been stuck with Final Cut Pro Audio effects download (update) I don’t need for weeks? I have finally broke down and downloaded and installed the update? However it still shows “1 update FCP” in System updater, bloody nightmare. In system updater prefs, I have nothing checked, no auto! Can anybody help please Thank You DonH

softwareupdate --ignore open terminal type this in and the name of the update you might have to use quotes on the name of the update

Thanks for your help, I moved the app FCP to the desktop and that did the trick it’s now ”Up to date”
