i have a an iPhone 6 and am still using version 8.1. The phone is working nice and smoothly. Was wondering if I should update to the latest version. Is my phone going to run as well with the newest update? Those who have, do regret it?

The iPhone 6 runs iOS 8 very well and you should be fine with 8.2, it also has security and bug fixes.
Only older devices like iPhone 5 and 4s have issues with iOS 8.

I personally regret it. Had nothing but problems with 8.2. Touch ID has stopped working, and there's a couple of other issues.

Attempting a clean install as we speak :(.

If you are happy, why risk it. I regretted updating to 8.1.2 and 8.1.3 but thankfully 8.2 has returned my previously exceptional battery life.

I can't speak for other devices, but iOS 8.2 is better than iOS 8.1 on the iPhone 6. Less frame drops, quicker access to the multitasking screen, and a fix for the FREAK vulnerability.

I just updated my 6+ to 8.2 about 20 minutes ago....seems to be working good so far. Granted I haven't been running it for long but no troubles so far.

I haven't had any issues, but if you want to jailbreak, there isn't one available just yet.

Just like with any update, most are fine with it, and a few have some issues. Nothing can really be said as to how it will be on your particular device for you aside from actually doing it and using it.

The update broke "album art" from displaying in CarPlay for all apps other than Apple's own music player. Sigh. Shoulda stayed away.

Fixed my remaining Bluetooth issue, so it worked great for me. I've had at least one Bluetooth issue since at least iOS 7.0.6, and it now all works again. Otherwise everything else is at least as stable as before.
