Software which allows viewing of mulitiple monitors

I'm an instructor looking for a program which allows me to view the monitors of my students during class. I understand Apple Remote Desktop does this but it appears to have many more features than I need and is quite pricey.

Has anyone heard of something which may work for up to 20 monitors?

ARD is definitely the software for you. You could rig something with VNC, but you'd have to keep a list of IP adresses, usernames, passwords and all that.
