Hello, I have 2 questions

1) which software is best for pc to rip to mpeg4? (i tried alive ipod converter, but the sound is bad even on high settings)

2) which software best to cut video into clips (2 hour video with 20 music videos into 20 separated mpeg2 videos?) thanks

in question 2 I actually meant mpeg4 or even better both of them, thanks

Besides getting a Mac, Nero http://www.nero.com actually does a good job of doing both of those tasks. They do a gret job of supporting MPEG-4/H.264 and AAC on the Windows platform.
