Sofware update comes up with an error that says it timed out

Hi,
since a few weeks now, updates cannot be installed and even widgets like accu weather do not work. I think there is an authentication problem with any widgets and software update from accessing the internet. (my internet works perfectly fine).

Any suggestions?

sounds like network problem, but possibly just try to repair the disk permissions.

I have repaired disk permissions but it still does not work. Thanks for the suggestion though!

na i havent figured it out yet aye... even my tunes cant get updated now. I'm thinking about installing leopard, perhaps that would solve it...
