sofware update crash, now not booting into os x

hello there

please help me out...

10.5.1 on a macbook

did a software update and it crashed in the middle of it after the download during the instalation procedure.

now i boot it again into os x, but it comes up with the grey screen telling me i need to reboot my laptop

how can i "roll back" the software updates or something like that

please help me

very apreciated
