Hi all,
I have been testing out database apps for a couple of weeks now. Specifically, I have been testing Together, Yojimbo, and SOHO Notes. There are many things to like about each app, and many differences as well.
My question is, can you import an email into Notes without having to "print to PDF" first? Together handles this brilliantly, and even shows the icon type as email. It doesn't link back to the email, it actually imports the email. The problem is if it's not just a text email, it loses the ability to search, which is a bummer.
Yojimbo does it to an extent, but captures it as plain text and loses the formatting. However, Yojimbo retains the ability to search any word within the email, which is awesome.
I cannot figure out a way to import an email into Notes. If I drag and drop, it does create a bookmark and it looks something like this:
message:%3C12596480.11601@paypal.com%3F
So if I "open" the bookmark, it opens the original mail within mail.app. I want to be able to see the contents of the email within the note.
Can it be done? Thanks!
