Hey Guys,

Sold my 8GB 3GS to subsidize my unlocked iPhone 4 purchase... anyways, is there anyway to remove the 8GB 3GS from my apple account so that the buyer cannot find out my shipping address etc???

thanks,

Call apple and they will help you out. Warranty issues can't really be handled online. Also, why did you buy an 8gb 3gs and not just get the iP4 outright? Wouldn't it have been much cheaper?

Long story short... apple replaced my 3G 10 times, 11th time they sent me a 8GB 3GS... Sold the 3GS to buy the 4 =)...

Heres my question, why the hell would you let them give you a replacement that has at least half the storage of the one that broke?

There was an issue with my information on their activation server...

If I needed to do a restore (for any reason) or if I did an upgrade it would completely lock the iPhone.... They FINALLY got it sorted out after 1 1/2 years.

my original iPhone was a 8GB 3G, they replaced it with a 8GB 3GS so no loss on my end... basically a gain since I managed to get a unlocked 16GB for $209 after taxes due to the sale of my 3GS plus a few 3G cases.
